The LK Miller team recently had the pleasure of completing a 2,000sf expansion for the office of well-loved East Norriton pediatricians Pediatric Medical Associates, founded by Dr. Steven Shapiro. Their existing space was expanded and renovated to better serve the needs of their growing clientele.

The office remained open for business throughout the entirety of the build, as much of the construction was efficiently and thoughtfully completed off-hours in order to fit the needs of the clinicians’ busy schedules. Dr. Shapiro explains, “With a sense of urgency and importance to our workflow, LK Miller became our ‘new friends’. The project was a constant joy. Timing of our work that involved patient care areas was always preserved.

Working in collaboration with Justin Bell and Steve Milliken of Newmark and architectural firm Spearman Associates, site construction was led by LK Miller Superintendent Jim Jordan and Project Manager Tommy Walsh. The owner of LK Miller, Jason Scholl, provided additional support and guidance throughout the design-build process as the existing space and new space were seamlessly blended.
